Q: What trends do you see shaping the IT industry as we head into 2026?
Ricardo: We're witnessing a fundamental shift in how technology teams operate and deliver value. Companies are becoming more strategic about their technical investments, focusing on building systems that can scale efficiently. This is a natural evolution in the field, as organizations align their capabilities with new technological realities, particularly in AI integration and automation. The emphasis is moving from team size to team effectiveness.
Q: What challenges will companies face in the coming years?
Ricardo: The biggest disruptor is undeniably AI. We're on the verge of massive transformations across every sector. Established service providers will need to start innovating quickly, or risk being overtaken by agile startups building AI-native solutions from the ground up. At Pro-Sharp, we're positioned right in the middle of this shift. We're not just using AI as a tool; we're actively training and fine-tuning models to elevate the entire development process to a new level.
Q: Are there specific trends that Pro-Sharp is already preparing for? If so, how?
Ricardo: Absolutely. Back in September, we implemented what we call an "AI-First" workflow across our organization. I'll be honest, it's been more challenging to integrate this approach into our legacy projects. For new projects, we have fully embraced AI assistance across the entire lifecycle. This includes everything from drafting specifications and designing architecture to implementation and deploying infrastructure. We've also integrated AI into our documentation processes and quality assurance workflows. It's become an integral part of how we operate.
