Our third guest in our expert interview series is a developer who joined Pro-Sharp four years ago and has become an integral part of our HubScience project team. Her journey with us began with a conversation with Ricardo, which immediately convinced her that this was where she wanted to build her career. What sets her apart is not only her technical adaptability across different technology stacks but also her genuine passion for continuous learning and growth.
What is your exact position at Pro-Sharp, and how did you end up here? What projects are you currently working on, and what do you like most about your daily work?
I joined Pro-Sharp four years ago when Ricardo approached me. After our first conversation, I was so impressed by the company and its projects that it became clear to me that I wanted to join the team. In addition to the professional challenges, it was the atmosphere that really drew me in: the team is extremely friendly, open, and helpful, and the atmosphere is often almost family-like. I am currently working on the HubScience project as a software developer. What I enjoy most about my daily work is that I encounter a variety of tasks that always present new challenges and learning opportunities. Working with my colleagues is very motivating: I learn a lot from their experience, and it feels good to find the best solutions together.
What has been the most interesting technological challenge or project for you in this position so far, and why? What did you learn from it?
The most interesting challenge for me so far has been participating in several projects that all used different technology stacks. This has constantly encouraged me to learn new tools and methods. It is very motivating for me to continually learn new things, which not only benefits my own professional development in the long run but also creates value for the company. One of these projects, for example, involved numerous front-end tasks, which were not among my favorites before. However, as I worked on it, I became increasingly engaged and eventually developed a love for this area. Teamwork also played a significant role in this: I learned a great deal from my colleagues, and together we were able to complete tasks much more efficiently. This highlighted the importance of incorporating others' experiences into my own work.
If you weren't doing this job, what would you be doing? Do you have any hobbies or passions that help you unwind outside of work?
I would work with plants or animals. Being close to nature constantly recharges my batteries, and I love taking care of living things, whether it's the tomatoes growing on our balcony or our two little rabbits. What I love about plants is that they teach patience and perseverance, yet they can grow spectacularly in a short amount of time. Animals, in turn, give back so much love and energy. For me, these are real forms of relaxation because they require a completely different kind of attention than my current job.
