Before founding Pro-Sharp in 2010, our CEO, Ricardo Pardo, took an unexpected path. Fresh out of his teaching degree, he landed at Telekom Malaysia in 2007, where he helped build a video streaming service at a time when Spotify was starting its music revolution.
"We were handling more complex data challenges since video requires much more bandwidth than audio," Ricardo recalls. "The technical problems were fascinating, even if the business model wasn't quite there yet."
A stint at EPAM taught him the importance of organizational excellence, while his father shaped his business mindset. However, what drives Pro-Sharp today is that we've always loved taking on challenges that others might avoid.
"Even now, it would be hard to define exactly what area we focus on at Pro-Sharp," Ricardo explains. "We try to find challenges that match our talented, experienced colleagues' curious attitudes."
